Following the exciting reveal of their new project, Project C4, ZA/UM has now announced a mobile version of the critically acclaimed game, Disco Elysium, exclusively for Android devices. Their aim is to introduce the game to new audiences and provide a convenient, on-the-go experience for existing fans. To achieve this, ZA/UM will offer the first two chapters of Disco Elysium for free on mobile. Players can then unlock the full game with a one-time payment, ensuring an ad-free experience.
ZA/UM emphasized their commitment to transparency, stating, "We want players to make an informed decision about their potential purchase." The studio, which now consists of both creators and custodians of the Disco Elysium IP, is dedicated to upholding the high standards set by the original game.

Studio head Denis Havel shared that the mobile version of Disco Elysium is designed to appeal to the TikTok audience. "We intend to captivate the TikTok user with quick hits of compelling story, art, and audio, ultimately creating an all new, deeply engaging form of entertainment," Havel explained.
Alongside the announcement, ZA/UM released a debut trailer and screenshots showcasing new 360-degree scenes tailored for mobile users, placing them right in the heart of Revachol. The game also features brand new audio with full voiceover, enhancing the immersive and character-rich experience.
Here’s the official description:
This is a total re-imagination of the award-winning, gripping psychological RPG Disco Elysium, designed to cater completely to the habits of today’s mobile users. This story-rich adventure has been optimized for short play sessions, allowing players to dive in anytime, anyplace on their mobile devices.
Narrative Lead Chris Priestman described the mobile version as "what audiobooks wish they were," designed for short bursts of play.
Disco Elysium is set to launch on mobile via Google Android in the summer of 2025.
It's important to note that while the studio name remains the same, many key contributors to the original Disco Elysium have since left ZA/UM. Numerous former ZA/UM members have departed the studio since the game's release, and some are now working on spiritual successors.
