Following launch week matchmaking problems, the developers suggested troubleshooting steps like restarting online services - particularly advising PlayStation users to verify their NAT type for smoother connections.
The June 6 maintenance aimed to "enhance expedition matchmaking with active Remembrances" has now concluded with full online services restored. Players anticipate improved cooperative play experiences.
"Nightfarers, your patience is appreciated," FromSoftware announced. "Limveld's challenges await."
Despite technical hiccups, Nightreign achieved impressive sales of 3.5 million copies within its first five days. While unlikely to surpass Elden Ring's monumental 30 million lifetime sales, it notably outperformed Shadow of the Erdtree's 5 million three-day launch in 2024.
