Many games struggle with optimization at launch, often requiring patches to smooth out the gameplay experience. However, *FragPunk* has impressed players with its solid performance right out of the gate. FragPunk Settings Overview

*FragPunk* settings are organized into five tabs. While most settings outside the Video tab are focused on quality-of-life and accessibility, they can still enhance your gameplay. We'll highlight the settings you should adjust, but feel free to experiment with others to find your perfect setup.

General

The General tab houses most quality-of-life and personal preference settings. It's beneficial to experiment with these to find what suits you best. Here are some recommended tweaks:

  • Automatic Climbing – On
  • Automatic Sprint – On
  • Camera Shake During Sprint – Off
  • FOV Sprint Scaling – On
  • Flash Eye Guarding – On
  • Keep Player Centered – On
  • Minimap Orientation Rotate – On
  • Performance Metrics – On
  • Ping Visibility – 1
  • Hide Overly Visible Skin Components from Enemies – On

This tab also includes crosshair creation options, which we'll cover later.

Keyboard/Controller

This section allows you to customize your key bindings. With Automatic Sprint enabled, the Shift key becomes available. Consider binding the walk function to Shift, a common setup in tactical shooters like *VALORANT* and *CS2*.

Sensitivity

Sensitivity settings are highly personal. Feel free to experiment or use online calculators to convert settings from games like *VALORANT* or *CS2*.

Audio

For the best audio experience, set the Sound Effects volume to a comfortable level and lower the Music, Announcer, and Button Volumes. Enable Character Voice Simplification to reduce unnecessary chatter. Voice Chat settings are up to your personal preference.
