Shuyu's Baffling Beetle Battle Bowl is a limited-time event in Genshin Impact Version 5.3, challenging players to beetle battles. This guide provides a straightforward approach to conquering all five battles.

Event Participation Requirements:

To participate, you must meet the following criteria:

• Adventure Rank 20 or higher.
• Completion of the Mondstadt Archon Quest Prologue. While not mandatory, completing Xianyun's Story Quest, "Grus Serena Chapter," enhances understanding of the event's narrative and introduces Shuyu.

Gameplay Mechanics:

The event's core mechanic involves controlling an Onikabuto beetle in simulated battles within a Teapot at Mt. Aocang against various overworld enemies. Controls are simple: Forward, Backward, and Jump. Mastering timing and stamina management is key, as movement and attacks consume stamina. Stronger attacks, like Piercing Strike (held attack button), require significantly more stamina.

Battle Strategies:

Each of the five stages presents unique challenges:

1. Staff Master (Basic Horizontal Sweeps): A standard Hilichurl; repeatedly target its head, dodging its ground-indicated attacks.
2. Staff Master (Torch-Wielding): A Hilichurl Berserker with a Pyro Slime. Focus attacks on its head and the Pyro Slime, especially when the Slime is about to be thrown.
3. Mumbly-Bumbly Red-Hot Mage: A Pyro Abyss Mage. Interrupt its spellcasting, then attack aggressively. Dodge its fireballs and flame pillars.
4. Bouncy, Energetic Cryo Mage: A Cryo Abyss Mage. Employ the same strategy as with the Pyro Abyss Mage.
5. Mini Mountain (Stonehide Lawachurl): A Stonehide Lawachurl. Swiftly attack, avoiding its attacks. A Geo Slime will appear; use Piercing Strike for maximum damage.

Difficulty Selection and Co-op:

Choose "Focused Fight" (two-star difficulty) for optimal Primogem rewards (30 and 20 Primogems per stage). "Utmost Might" (three-star) offers Mora and Enhancement Ores but no Primogems. Utilize Piercing Strikes strategically. Consult the "Dossier on Opponent" for enemy attack patterns. Co-op mode allows teaming up with other players.

Rewards:

Complete the event on Focused Fight for a total of 420 Primogems. Additional rewards include Hero's Wit, Sanctifying Unction, Mora, and Mystic Enhancement Ore.
