Since its inception in 1998, Rockstar has crafted over 30 games, giving us iconic franchises like Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead Redemption, and Manhunt. But which ones stand out as the best? Note that this list focuses solely on games developed by Rockstar, excluding published titles like LA Noire or Max Payne 2. I've ranked them based on my personal enjoyment using an IGN Tier List. Red Dead Redemption 2 effortlessly claims the top spot in my S-tier, as it's not just my favorite Rockstar game, but my favorite game ever. It's joined by its predecessor and the groundbreaking GTA 5, both of which redefined the cinematic open world genre. I also have a special fondness for Max Payne 3 with its exhilarating bullet time mechanics, and GTA San Andreas, which I played at an age perhaps too young to fully appreciate its depth. At the other end of the spectrum, in the D-tier, sit titles like Austin Powers: Oh, Behave! and Welcome to My Underground Lair!, games that few would willingly revisit.
