Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has been rated for PlayStation 5 by the Entertainment Software Rating Board, indicating that a release on this platform is likely imminent. The game, developed by MachineGames, was initially launched on Xbox Series X and S as well as PC in December 2024 and is slated for a PS5 release in spring 2025. This suggests fans can expect to get their hands on the PS5 version within the next few months.

While Microsoft has kept quiet about the exact PS5 release date during its recent Xbox Developer Direct showcase, an official announcement seems to be on the horizon.

Since its initial Xbox launch, MachineGames has rolled out several updates, including fixes for various bugs and the addition of support for Nvidia DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation and DLSS Ray Reconstruction on PC. The PS5 version will include all the updates released so far for the console.

The game's launch on Game Pass has propelled it to reach 4 million players, a number expected to surge with the PS5 release.

Harrison Ford, the iconic actor behind Indiana Jones, has praised Troy Baker's portrayal of the character in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. In a conversation with The Wall Street Journal, Ford expressed his satisfaction with Baker's performance, humorously noting, "You don’t need artificial intelligence to steal my soul. You can already do it for nickels and dimes with good ideas and talent. He did a brilliant job, and it didn’t take AI to do it."
