The highlight of Version 1.5 is undoubtedly the introduction of two new S-Rank Agents. Astra Yao, an Ether Support character, joins the game in the first phase. With only Nicole and Zhu Yuan as the other Ether-based agents, Astra's addition is particularly significant. Her unique W-Engine, Elegant Vanity, will also be available for players to obtain. The second phase, starting on February 12, introduces Evelyn Chevalier, a Fire Attacker Bodyguard, along with her limited-time W-Engine, Heartstring Nocturne.

Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.5 Launches on January 22

In addition to the new agents, Version 1.5 offers a plethora of new content. After wrapping up the main narrative in Version 1.4, players can now dive into a new special story. The S-Rank Bangboo unit Snap will be available, alongside new check-in events and further game optimizations. The next Hollow Zero phase, Cleanse Calamity, introduces a fresh challenge, while the new Arcade game, Mach 25, promises fun and excitement. New costumes for Ellen, Nicole, and Astra Yao will also be added, allowing players to further customize their characters.

A long-awaited feature, banner reruns, is finally coming to Zenless Zone Zero. Similar to HoYoverse's other titles, Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, players will have the chance to pull for past S-Rank agents. The first phase will feature Ellen Joe and her specific W-Engine, followed by Qingyi and her W-Engine in the second phase.
