KEMCO Launches Card Deck-Building Roguelite Novel Rogue on Android

You play as Wright, a young apprentice under the tutelage of Yuisil, the Witch of Portals, within the hallowed halls of the Ancient Library. Wright's adventure unfolds as he dives into the pages of four magical books, each transporting him to a unique and vibrant world.

One book plunges you into a quest to aid a princess knight in reclaiming her fallen kingdom; another unveils the mysteries of the underworld. Your choices shape these worlds, ensuring every playthrough offers a fresh and unpredictable experience.

Novel Rogue Gameplay: A Turn-Based Tale

At the heart of Novel Rogue lies a turn-based card battle system, dynamically adapting to the world you explore. Each of the four realms boasts its own unique deck-building mechanics. Conquer enemies, select from three new cards after each battle, and craft the ultimate deck to conquer your foes.

Strategic depth is enhanced by the "Change" command, allowing you to strategically redistribute damage among your allies. The "Novel Power" mechanic empowers your deck using ink, while "Deep Record" mode significantly increases the challenge for players seeking high-stakes battles.

As you journey, collect treasures to cultivate relationships with your companions, unlocking special endings based on your bonds. Customize your characters' appearances with Witch Stones, allowing you to equip your favorite costumes.
