Kingdom Come Deliverance 2: Completing "Hush, My Darling"

This side quest, "Hush, My Darling," in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, begins not in Kuttenberg City, but in Miskowitz, a village west of the city. Prepare your blacksmithing skills; you'll need them!

Finding Martha and Accepting the Quest

Martha resides in the house attached to the forge in the southeastern part of Miskowitz. Speak with her and offer your blacksmithing services. Accepting her request to help will initiate the "Hush, My Darling" side quest. If you haven't already, you can also speak to the bailiff (standing near Martha) about Matthew, a member of the Dry Devil's group.

Crafting Horseshoes

You may already possess the necessary materials: two Farmer's Horseshoes. If not, gather two pieces of Scrap Metal and craft them at the forge. Return the finished horseshoes to Martha.

Investigating Victoria's House

Martha requests you deliver the horseshoes to Victoria, whose house lies south of the forge. Upon entering, you'll discover blood instead of Victoria. Inspect the bloodstain to progress the quest. Inform Martha of your findings; she suggests searching Sigismund's camp.

Searching Sigismund's Camp and Finding Victoria

Sigismund's camp is located south of Opatowitz. (If you're still searching for Matthew for the Dry Devil questline, he may be encountered on the path to the camp.) Speak with the blacksmith in the camp about Victoria. He'll mention a soldier named Black who was interested in her and is currently ill in the infirmary tent. Black requires medicine before revealing information. Provide him with a Digestive Potion (craft one if needed). Wait a couple of hours for the potion's effect. He'll then suggest looking for Victoria in the eastern woods. You'll find her at the quest marker.

Speak with Victoria to resolve the situation. Dialogue choices have minimal impact on future events. If you secured a promise from Black to look after Victoria, relaying this information can offer her some comfort. This concludes "Hush, My Darling." Continue with the main quests or other side quests, such as "In Vino Veritas."
