With rumors swirling about a January 16th Nintendo Switch 2 reveal, fans immediately connected the dots.

The Nintendo Switch 2 announcement indeed followed on January 16th. However, the real intrigue began when fans reverse-image searched the cake, tracing it back to a Bon Appétit recipe published on April 2nd, 2024. The significance? Nintendo subsequently announced a Nintendo Direct: Nintendo Switch 2 for Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025. This led many to believe Pellen initiated an alternate reality game (ARG) to tease Silksong's release.

The mystery deepens. Fans are dissecting Pellen's new Twitter handle, @everydruidwaswr (15 characters, the Twitter handle limit, possibly hinting at a Silksong NPC), and his new name, "little bomey," potentially referencing a South Australian wine, aligning with Team Cherry's location.

Initially, Silksong was slated for Windows, Mac, Linux, and Nintendo Switch.
