Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls – New Heroes, Maps, and Game Mode Unveiled

NetEase Games recently unveiled exciting details about Marvel Rivals Season 1, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST. This three-month season introduces Mister Fantastic (Duelist) and The Invisible Woman (Strategist), with The Thing and Human Torch arriving approximately six to seven weeks later. The Baxter Building will also feature prominently in a new map.

The Season 1 Battle Pass offers 10 new skins for 990 Lattice, with a 600 Lattice and 600 Unit refund upon completion. A new arcade-style game mode, "Doom Match," debuts, pitting 8-12 players against each other on maps like the newly revealed Empire of the Eternal Night: Sanctum Sanctorum. Victory goes to the top 50%.

Three new maps are coming:

• Empire of the Eternal Night: Sanctum Sanctorum (for Doom Match)
• Empire of the Eternal Night: Midtown (for convoy missions)
• Empire of the Eternal Night: Central Park (launching in six to seven weeks)

NetEase Games highlighted its commitment to player feedback, acknowledging concerns about character balance (like Hawkeye's ranged advantage) and promising adjustments in the first half of Season 1. While rumors of a PvE mode circulate, they weren't addressed in this announcement. The excitement surrounding Season 1: Eternal Night Falls is palpable among fans.
