Marvel Contest of Champions will launch the Dark Phoenix Saga with Jean Grey and Bastion alongside the addition of a new Eidol

Kabam is rolling out exciting updates for Marvel Contest of Champions, launching the Dark Phoenix Saga, introducing new Champions, and debuting a new character type called Eidols. This month also spotlights the game's powerful women, offering players a chance to influence a future Champion rework.

Jean Grey and Bastion are the newest additions to The Contest, each bringing unique abilities and advancing the game's storyline. Jean Grey will be available starting March 13th, followed by Bastion on March 27th. The Dark Phoenix Saga begins on March 3rd, featuring Jean Grey and the X-Men battling dangerous variants in a fresh quest.

The narrative of Marvel Contest of Champions continues to evolve with the introduction of more Eidols, furthering the Founders storyline. Following the debut of Isophyne in December 2024, three more Eidols will be introduced in 2025, each with a unique sourcing system. Lumatrix, the next Eidol, arrives on March 5th and will be accessible until June 4th.

Lumatrix, crafted by The Founders, is a master infiltrator designed for spying, sabotage, and assassination with unmatched precision. Made from ISO-8 crystals, Lumatrix boasts extraordinary light manipulation abilities. While it dazzles with its performance, it hides a lethal weapon designed to eliminate enemies discreetly.
