Marvel Rivals' First Month: Hero Data Unveiled, Season 1 Changes Imminent
NetEase has released comprehensive player statistics for Marvel Rivals, highlighting the most and least popular heroes during the game's initial month. The data reveals player preferences and win rates across Quickplay and Competitive modes on both PC and console.
Jeff the Land Shark emerges as the undisputed Quickplay champion, boasting the highest pick rate across all platforms. However, Mantis surprisingly claims the top spot for win rate, exceeding 50% in both Quickplay (56%) and Competitive (55%). Other high-performing heroes include Loki, Hela, and Adam Warlock.
The "Hero Hot List" also reveals platform-specific favorites: Cloak & Dagger reigns supreme in Console Competitive, while Luna Snow dominates PC Competitive.
Marvel Rivals: Most Picked Heroes
Conversely, Storm struggles with incredibly low pick rates (1.66% in Quickplay and a dismal 0.69% in Competitive), largely attributed to player dissatisfaction with her performance. However, hope remains for Storm players, as NetEase has announced significant buffs for her in the upcoming Season 1 balance changes.
Season 1, launching January 10th, will introduce the Fantastic Four, promising to shake up the meta and potentially alter these statistics dramatically. The addition of Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman at launch, followed by The Human Torch and The Thing mid-season, will undoubtedly impact hero selection and win rates. The upcoming changes, particularly the buffs to Storm, will likely lead to a shift in the current rankings.
