Microsoft has unveiled an exciting lineup of Xbox Game Pass titles set to join the service in the first half of April 2025, featuring a mix of first- and third-party games. The announcement, detailed in a recent Xbox Wire post, promises a strong start to the month with major titles arriving as early as tomorrow, April 3.

The month kicks off with Gearbox Software's Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition (available on Cloud, Console, and PC) for all tiers, accompanied by All You Need Is Help (Console), Still Wakes the Deep (Xbox Series X | S), and Wargroove 2 (Console), all joining Game Pass Standard. This initial wave is packed with enough content to keep Xbox fans engaged throughout the month, but the excitement doesn't stop there. Just five days later, on April 8, subscribers can dive into South of Midnight (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X | S) and Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition (Console and PC), both accessible to all Game Pass subscribers.

South of Midnight, developed by Compulsion Games, is set to be one of the year's biggest releases for Xbox. This Deep South-set folklore adventure invites players to explore myths, confront mysterious creatures, and harness ancient powers to overcome obstacles and face the challenges haunting their hometown. Microsoft's official description highlights the game's unique blend of modern storytelling and traditional folklore, promising an engaging addition to Game Pass.

Following closely, Commandos: Origins (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X | S) will be available for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers on April 9, with Blue Prince (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X | S) joining these tiers the next day on April 10. Rounding out the first wave of April releases, Hunt: Showdown 1896 (PC) will be added for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers on April 15.

In addition to the new titles, Xbox Game Pass perks are also being refreshed for the first half of April 2025. Highlights include the Beyond the Void Bundle for The First Descendant, the Sweet Starter Pack for Candy Crush Solitaire on mobile devices, and an anniversary Seventh Serving Emote for Sea of Thieves enthusiasts.
