World of Warcraft's New 6-Month Subscription Rewards: Timbered Sky Snake and More!

World of Warcraft is offering exciting new in-game rewards for players subscribing for six months or more! Secure your Timbered Sky Snake mount for modern WoW and the adorable Timbered Air Snakelet pet for Classic WoW. These items, inspired by the 2025 Year of the Wood Snake, will be delivered by January 31, 2025, and must be redeemed before January 31, 2026.

This tradition of bonus subscription rewards, running since 2018, typically updates in January and July, often reflecting the lunar Zodiac. Last year's Auspicious Arborwyrm, for example, celebrated the Year of the Wood Dragon.

The Timbered Sky Snake is a flying mount for retail WoW, while the Timbered Air Snakelet is its miniature counterpart, perfect for Cataclysm Classic. These items are included with a six-month subscription but can also be purchased separately from the in-game store ($25 for the mount, $10 for the pet). Note that the Timbered Sky Snakelet (a separate pet for modern WoW) is available for $10 on the Battle.net shop but isn't part of the subscription bundle.

Existing subscribers will also receive these rewards. All qualifying Battle.net accounts will receive them by January 31, 2025.
