Nintendo Switch 2 Pre-Orders Start April 24 in U.S., $449

The company has officially announced that pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 will kick off in the U.S. on April 24, 2025. The original pricing remains unchanged, with the console set at $449.99 and slated for a launch on June 5, 2025.

This announcement was shared directly on Nintendo's official website, where they also highlighted that Switch 2 accessories will see price adjustments due to shifting market conditions. Nintendo further cautioned that future price changes for any Nintendo product could occur, depending on market dynamics.

Despite the adjustments to accessory pricing, the base price of the Nintendo Switch 2 and the enticing Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle, priced at $499.99, will stay the same. Both the physical and digital versions of Mario Kart World will retail at $79.99, while Donkey Kong Bananza will be available for $69.99 at launch.
