Nintendo Highlights Upcoming Releases in 2025 Financial Report

The report confirms several first-party titles launching in 2025. Donkey Kong Country Returns HD arrives on January 16th, followed by Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition on March 20th. While Pokémon Legends: Z-A and Metroid Prime 4: Beyond are also slated for release this year, precise dates remain unannounced.

Further announcements are expected during a Nintendo Direct presentation on Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025. The exact broadcast time will be revealed later via Nintendo's official website and social media channels. Although the focus is likely on the Nintendo Switch 2, many hope for additional Switch 2 exclusive titles or teasers.

Hands-on with the Nintendo Switch 2 Before Launch

The highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 is also launching in 2025, expected in the latter half of the year. To build excitement, Nintendo is hosting in-person "Nintendo Switch 2 Experience" events across 15 global locations, including New York, Tokyo, and Amsterdam, starting in April. Super Nintendo World Expands to Orlando

Nintendo's expansion extends beyond video games. A new Super Nintendo World theme park is opening at Universal Orlando Resort's Epic Universe in Orlando, Florida on May 22nd, 2025. This will be the second Super Nintendo World location in the US, following the Universal Studios Hollywood debut in February 2023. The Orlando park will feature iconic landscapes from Super Mario Land and Donkey Kong Country.

Further, Nintendo plans a Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Singapore, though details beyond a projected 2025 release remain scarce.
