With pleasant summer weather (or at least sporadic sunshine in some regions), you hardly need an excuse to go outside. But if you do want one, the upcoming Pokémon Go August Community Day is a perfect reason, especially with the newly announced bonuses for a certain bird Pokémon.

Available on August 30th from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time, Trainers will find Rookidee appearing much more frequently, with a chance to encounter the coveted Shiny version. If you've been hoping to add one to your collection, now is the ideal time to log in.

However, the event isn't just about catching Rookidee. For those progressing through its evolution line, there's exciting news. During the event (or until September 6th), evolving a Corvisquire will grant you a Corviknight that knows the Charged Attack, Air Cutter.
