Pokémon Go has introduced a new $100 Premier Access ticket upgrade for its upcoming Go Fest: Jersey City event, enhancing the experience with both in-game perks and real-world amenities. This year's Go Fest, a highlight of the game's annual calendar, will be held at Liberty State Park in Jersey City, as well as in Paris, France, and Osaka, Japan. Attendees of the Jersey City event can now elevate their experience with this premium add-on, as announced by developer Niantic.
The Premier Access upgrade is akin to a Business Class option for the event, offering exclusive access to a lounge equipped with "upgraded restrooms, portable charger kiosks with lockers, and seating to recharge yourself for your next adventure." While the specifics of the restroom upgrades remain undisclosed, these facilities promise a more comfortable experience compared to standard options.
Additionally, Premier Access ticket holders will benefit from fast-track entry to the Pokémon Center Pop-Up Store, allowing them to bypass lines and spend less time waiting and more time playing. This is particularly valuable given the high demand and long waits typically associated with the store, which can detract from the limited playtime available during the event.

The real draw of the Premier Access upgrade, however, lies in the extensive list of in-game items it provides. Players will receive a bounty of resources, including 100 Premium Battle Passes, 100 Super Incubators, 20 Max Particle Packs, and much more. The total value of these items could easily exceed $300 if purchased separately.

In addition to these in-game benefits, Premier Access ticket holders will receive an exclusive enamel pin badge.
The response to this new ticket offer has been varied. Some players have expressed concern over the high cost, noting that Pokémon Go has not previously offered such an expensive upgrade and that the game now presents more opportunities for in-game purchases than ever before. Conversely, others argue that the upgrade offers excellent value given the extensive in-game items provided. For players who have already committed to attending Go Fest and have the disposable income, this upgrade might be an attractive option.
IGN has reached out to Niantic to inquire if this Premier Access offer will be available at other Go Fest locations.
Pokémon Go Fest 2025 is scheduled for the weekend of May 29 in Osaka, the weekend of June 6 in Jersey City, and the weekend of June 13 in Paris. This year's event will focus on the release of the Legendary creature Volcanion and the broader availability of the Mexican regional exclusive, Hawlucha.
