Pokémon Go Reveals June Community Day Details

• Pokémon Go has officially revealed new details about its highly anticipated June Community Day event.
• The featured Pokémon for this occasion will be the fan-favorite Jangmo-o.
• Players can also look forward to exclusive Special Research tasks and unique Pokémon encounters.

It's been an exciting period for Pokémon Go fans. From the newly announced Road Trip event and the comprehensive June content update, to the debut of the Delightful Days Battle League, there's been a steady stream of news. The announcements continue, as we now have the inside scoop on the upcoming Community Day scheduled for June 21st, 2025.

First and foremost, the star of the June Community Day will be Jangmo-o. This Pokémon will appear much more frequently in the wild, giving you a greater chance to find its rare Shiny variant. If you evolve Jangmo-o into Hakamo-o and then into Kommo-o during the event or up until June 28th, your Kommo-o will automatically know the powerful Charged Attack, Clanging Scales.

As is tradition, dedicated trainers will have access to Community Day Special Research and limited-time Timed Research. The Special Research story can be purchased for $1.99 (or the equivalent in your local currency) and will feature tasks focused on catching the increased number of Jangmo-o.

Even if you choose not to purchase the Special Research, you can still participate through Field Research. Catching Jangmo-o will earn you rewards like Stardust, Great Balls, and additional encounters with the featured Pokémon. Some of these encounters may even feature the special Delightful Days-themed background.
