RTX 5070 Graphics Card at MSRP for Amazon Prime Members

If you've been eagerly awaiting the return of one of the more budget-friendly Blackwell cards at a reputable retailer, now's your opportunity to snag one at its list price. Amazon is currently offering the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5070 Windforce OC 12GB Graphics Card exclusively to Amazon Prime members for $609.99, complete with free shipping. This GPU is ideal for gaming at resolutions up to 1440p with high framerates and comes equipped with the latest DLSS 4 technology.

It's worth noting that the suggested launch price for a GeForce RTX 5070 card is $549.99. While a few models are available at this price, they are incredibly difficult to find in stock. The Windforce OC model is priced higher due to its overclocked version, but at $609.99, it remains the most affordable standalone RTX 5070 GPU on the market.

Compared to the previous generation GPUs, the RTX 5070 offers performance similar to the RTX 4070 Super. While we hoped for a more significant generational leap in raw performance, the RTX 4070 Super was already a stellar card for 1080p and 1440p gaming, launching at $599.99—just $10 less than this Gigabyte 5070 model. However, finding an RTX 4070 Super at this price is nearly impossible now. The RTX 5070 not only looks better but also performs superiorly in games that support DLSS 4 and multi-frame generation, making it a more future-proof option that will benefit from ongoing driver optimizations.

Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Review by Jacqueline Thomas

"The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 delivers on its promise: playing games at 1440p with high frame rates. However, it doesn't necessarily outperform the RTX 4070 Super or other cards within its price range. The addition of Multi Frame Generation is a valuable feature, especially for those with high-refresh monitors, but it alone may not justify an upgrade."
