Terminator 2D: NO FATE Announced – A New Game Set in the Terminator Universe

Studio Bitmap Bureau is bringing a retro-style side-scrolling beat 'em up based on the classic film Terminator 2: Judgment Day. While inspired by the iconic sequel, the game promises original storylines and multiple endings, ensuring a fresh take on the familiar narrative. Key scenes from the movie will remain, however, providing a nostalgic experience for fans.

Players will switch between controlling the T-800, Sarah Connor, and the now-adult John Connor. Taking on the roles of the T-800 and Sarah Connor will pit them against the relentless T-1000, while playing as John Connor allows players to lead the resistance.

The trailer features the franchise's memorable main theme and showcases iconic Terminator 2 moments reimagined in stunning pixel art. Beyond the main campaign, several arcade modes will provide additional replayability.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day (the game) is scheduled for release on September 5th, 2025, for current-gen consoles and PC.
