Ubisoft will unveil two hours of gameplay from Assassin's Creed Shadows tomorrow

Initially slated for a March 20, 2025 release on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, Assassin's Creed Shadows has been delayed. According to reputable insider Tom Henderson, this postponement addresses historical and cultural inaccuracies, as well as overall game polish. While rumors circulated about Yasuke's character arc being significantly altered, Henderson clarifies that while adjustments are being made to his narrative, he will remain a key part of the game.

The delay stems from a confluence of factors, including the late integration of historical consultants and internal communication challenges within the development team. Furthermore, the game's technical readiness isn't yet at the launch-ready standard. While bug fixes are underway, more extensive gameplay adjustments will require additional time. However, Henderson's sources suggest a Valentine's Day release on February 14th is now the target, indicating sufficient time for completion.
