For all the completionists and trophy hunters out there, you'll be thrilled to know that *Monster Hunter Wilds* offers some challenging achievements to conquer. We're here to guide you through unlocking all the hidden achievements in this thrilling game.
In *Monster Hunter Wilds*, there are 12 secret achievements waiting to be discovered. Seven of these are linked to the main story progression, which you'll naturally unlock as you advance through the game. The remaining five are tied to optional objectives, detailed below:
While some of these achievements are straightforward, others require a bit more effort. Let's dive into how to unlock each one.
To unlock this achievement, head to Zone 11 of the Windward Plains at night. Equip yourself with screamer pods and keep an eye out for a Baunos flying near the gathering spots. Use the screamer pods to stun it, then swiftly catch it with your Capture Net.
This achievement can be achieved in various maps, but focus on Zone 6 of the Scarlet Forest. Look for a small puddle of water and use your Capture Net to catch the small golden crab lurking there. Alma will often comment when you're near a creature with the Ancient Wyvern Coin, hinting at its presence.
Once you reach High Rank missions, you can start crafting Artian gear. To obtain Rarity 8 weapons and materials, you'll need to hunt Tempered monsters while equipped with Rarity 7 gear.
Don't confuse Tempered monsters with Frenzied ones; the former are marked in purple on the minimap, while the latter are outlined in red. Start hunting or capturing Tempered monsters from Chapter 4 onwards, as they become available in High Rank content, to work towards this achievement.
This achievement requires you to hunt 50 Apex Predators. The monsters that count towards this achievement are Rey, Dau, Uth, Duna, Nu, Udra, and Jin Dahaad. Keep track of your progress and focus on these specific targets.
That's how you can unlock all the hidden achievements in *Monster Hunter Wilds*. For more tips and information on the game, including the best gathering set to use, be sure to check out The Escapist.
