Video: Evelyn Gameplay, the new stripping heroine from Zenless Zone Zero

Zenless Zone Zero welcomes a fiery new heroine: Evelyn Chevalier! Even before her official release, Evelyn captured the hearts of players with a unique battle quirk – she dramatically removes her cape and uses it as a weapon!

Evelyn is an S-rank Fire-type Assault character joining Nicole, Anton, and Qingyi in Zenless Zone Zero's 1.5 update's second banner.

The 1.5 update also brings the customary miHoYo (HoYoverse) Polychrome compensation. Players will receive 300 Polychromes for bug fixes and another 300 for technical improvements related to the update, delivered directly to their in-game mail.

Evelyn's gameplay centers on focused targeting. Her basic attacks draw enemies in, creating extended attack chains. Multi-stage and special attacks activate "Forbidden Bounds," binding her to the main target. These attacks generate Tribal Threads and Scorch Points, fueling powerful fire-based abilities that inflict substantial damage. Her signature move, of course, remains her cape-throwing attack. Many players, already familiar with leaks, are eagerly anticipating her arrival.
