Embark on a rewarding side quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2: recovering Vostatek's missing horse, Pepik. This quest, "Lackey," begins by speaking with either Zlata at Vostatek's home (west of Tachov) or directly with Vitek, slightly southeast of the house.
The quest initiates with a rescue mission. You'll find Vostatek under attack by wolves to the north. After saving him, you'll need to carry the injured Vostatek to his campsite where Pepik was last seen. Be mindful of your stamina; dropping Vostatek will add complications.
At the campsite, you discover Pepik has been stolen by poachers. Follow the trail of clues to their camp. Strategically engage the poachers; taking them out individually or escaping with Pepik before a full-scale confrontation is advisable.
Return Pepik to Vostatek's camp. You can then choose to travel with him back to his home, a convenient fast travel option. Your reward? A generous sum of Groschen and access to his home as a safe haven.
With Pepik returned and your coffers replenished, you're free to pursue further quests, romantic interests, or equipment upgrades in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
