Warriors: Abyss Roguelite Launches Today

Following the release of Dynasty Warriors: Origins, Koei Tecmo delivers another exciting title, Warriors: Abyss, a fresh take on the musou genre. This new roguelite, featuring familiar faces from the Warriors series, is available now.

Showcased during today's PlayStation State of Play, Warriors: Abyss lets you build a squad of iconic characters and battle relentless waves of enemies. The isometric perspective, reminiscent of Diablo and Hades, provides a unique strategic viewpoint.

Assemble your team to conquer the forces of "hell," facing demonic foes along the way. The gameplay trailer featured characters from across the Warriors franchise, including Zhou Yu, Nobunaga Oda, and Sun Shang Xiang.

Koei Tecmo plans to expand the character roster with additions from the Jin kingdom in Dynasty Warriors, followed by further waves of new characters. The developer hinted at the possibility of characters from outside the Warriors series joining the fray in future updates.

Warriors: Abyss is available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. A Nintendo Switch release is slated for February 13, 2025. Players who purchase the game before March 14, 2025, will receive an in-game Dynasty Warriors Costume Set.
