Wuchang: Fallen Feathers Release Date Announced with Pre-Order Bonus

Get ready, gamers! Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is set to hit the shelves on July 24, 2025, and will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X and S, as well as PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store. Exciting news for Xbox fans: Microsoft is bringing it to Game Pass day one, so if you're subscribed to the Ultimate tier, you're in for a treat right from the get-go.

For those eager to dive in early, pre-ordering the game will net you the exclusive Night & White Pack. This pack includes two stunning costume sets — Night Spectre and White Spectre — along with the formidable Vermillion War Club axe and the powerful Glistening Red Mercury Skill Upgrade, enhancing your gameplay from the start.

Developer Leenzee Games isn't stopping there. They've announced that Wuchang: Fallen Feathers will be available in both a standard and a deluxe edition. The deluxe edition packs a punch with four unique costumes — each consisting of five pieces — four specialized weapons, and one additional Skill Upgrade item, all on top of the base game. Here’s what you get with the Deluxe Edition:

• Tiger of Fortune Costume
• Draconic Resurgence Costume
• Soul Ritual Robe Costume
• Overlord’s Regalia Costume
• Watcher’s Gaze (Sword)
• Dragoncoil Lance (Spear)
• Eternal Sovereignty (Dual Blades)
• Moonlight Dragon (Sword)
• Skill Upgrade Item: the Blood of Changhong Skill

Set in the dark and tumultuous late Ming Dynasty in the land of Shu, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is a Soulslike action-RPG where you take on the role of a mysterious warrior cursed by a horrific feather disease. As you navigate this ancient empire on the brink of collapse, you'll uncover hidden secrets and face off against supernatural foes in an immersive and challenging world.

We got an early taste of the game in our Wuchang: Fallen Feathers first hands-on preview earlier this year, and we were impressed. Our preview stated: "I only caught a small glimpse at Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, but I already feel pretty good about its chances at being more than just another soulslike to add to the ridiculously overflowing pile. The movesets are intricate and interesting, the RPG mechanics seem deep and offer a lot of freedom (even if I can’t claim to understand some of them fully), and the boss fights gave me a serious run for my money that’s rare these days. All that’s already got me pretty excited to play more."
