The Tingklik is a traditional Balinese musical instrument crafted from bamboo, known for its unique construction and sound. Comprising bamboo blades, the Tingklik is played by striking these blades with a paddle known as a tingklik pelvis. The Tingklik Gamelan ensemble includes two types of instruments: the Tingklik Polos and the Tingklik Sangsih. Each Tingklik instrument can have between eleven and twenty-five bamboo blades, with the exact number varying based on the scale being used.

To play the Tingklik, musicians use both hands skillfully. The right hand typically plays the kotekan, which is the melody, while the left hand focuses on the bun, which provides the rhythm. In some performances, the right hand may also play the sangsih part, while the left hand plays the polos, adding to the intricate layering of sounds that the Tingklik is known for.
