Fantagraphics leads with 24 nominations (plus 1 shared), followed closely by DC Comics with 10 nominations (plus 9 shared). Notable among nominated creators is Wonder Woman writer Tom King with four nominations, while several others received three nods each.
Comics enthusiasts will be pleased to see former IGN Comics editor Joey Esposito among the nominees. His collaboration with Sean Von Gorman on The Pedestrian earned a Best New Series nomination, competing against heavyweights like Absolute Batman and The Power Fantasy.
