Albion Online has just released its first major update of 2025, dubbed the Rogue Frontier, embracing the theme of living on the edge. This update introduces a new faction, innovative trading methods, and exciting new weapons, allowing players to immerse themselves in an underground network of outcasts who are crafting their own rules.
The Smugglers are the epitome of rebellion and nonconformity, tired of the Royal Continent's stringent regulations. They have established themselves in the lawless wilds, creating hidden sanctuaries known as Smuggler's Dens. These dens serve as your base where you can store your loot and engage in a variety of clandestine activities.
Each Smuggler's Den is equipped with banks, repair stations, and travel planners to facilitate your movements. They are integral to the Smuggler's Network, a trading system that revolutionizes the way goods are moved across the Outlands. Now, you can bypass the Royal Continent's taxing and cumbersome regulations, though you'll need to pay a fee to the Smugglers for their services.
The Smugglers have formed a full-fledged Faction, inviting you to undertake missions that demonstrate your allegiance. You might find yourself tracking down stolen Smuggler Crates from ambushed wagons or rescuing captured Smugglers from the Royal Guards. Completing these tasks earns you Smuggler's Coins, which you can use to advance your standing within their ranks.
Beyond the thrilling world of the Smugglers, the Rogue Frontier Update introduces several highly anticipated features to Albion Online. The new Bank Overview feature allows you to easily track where all your items are stored throughout the game world, eliminating the hassle of searching for your rare loot.
For PvP enthusiasts, the introduction of Kill Trophies offers a way to commemorate your most memorable battles. Additionally, the Albion Journal now includes a Creatures category, encouraging players to document and explore the various beasts that roam the wild.
The update also introduces three new Crystal Weapons tailored for explorers, traders, and fighters alike. To experience all these new features, head over to the Google Play Store and download Albion Online to dive into the Rogue Frontier Update.
