BREAKING: The first image from Avatar: Seven Havens has been revealed at #SDCC
Avatar: Seven Havens marks a 26-episode return to 2D animation, chronicling the journey of a young Earthbender who becomes the Avatar after Korra. The series reunites original creators Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko as co-creators.
Nickelodeon describes Seven Havens as taking place in "a world fractured by catastrophe. When a young Earthbender learns she's Korra's successor, her newfound Avatar status brands her as humanity's doom rather than its hope. Pursued by enemies from both the human and spirit worlds, she must join forces with her estranged twin to unravel their enigmatic past and protect the Seven Havens - civilization's final sanctuaries."
The series will unfold across two seasons, featuring 13-episode installments titled Book 1 and Book 2 respectively.
This announcement marks Avatar Studios' first television production, complementing their upcoming animated feature film centered on an adult Aang's adventures, slated for theatrical release on January 30, 2026.
