Bam Margera will indeed be featured in the upcoming Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4, despite not initially being included in the announced roster of returning skaters. This news was shared by skateboarding media veteran Roger Bagley during a members-only livestream on The Nine Club skateboarding podcast, as reported by Video Games Chronicle.

Bagley revealed that the game was already completed when Tony Hawk personally reached out to Activision, requesting Bam Margera's inclusion. Although initially told it was impossible, Hawk's determination led to Margera's addition to the game. IGN has reached out to Activision for further comment on this development.

Bam Margera, known for his professional skateboarding career and his role in the Jackass series, has faced significant public challenges with alcohol and substance abuse, including multiple rehab stints. He was also fired from Jackass Forever and was subject to a restraining order from Jackass director Jeff Tremaine following alleged threats.

Recent videos of Hawk and Margera skateboarding together sparked speculation about Margera's return to the game. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4, announced earlier this month, is set to launch on July 11, 2025, across PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game is being developed by Iron Galaxy, following the project's revival after the merger of previous developer Vicarious Visions with Blizzard.
