This impressive collection includes 18 feature-length animated films, spanning from the late 1990s to recent years. Among them are classics like "Batman: The Killing Joke" from 2016, based on Alan Moore's iconic graphic novel. While Warner Bros. took some creative liberties, our review rated it at 6.1, noting, "There's probably a way to expand on the events of The Killing Joke and craft a story that doesn't elevate Batman and Joker at the expense of Batgirl. Sadly, this movie doesn't find the answer. As an adaptation, The Killing Joke succeeds only when it sticks closely to the source material. Its attempts to embellish the original story end in disaster."
Notably, this collection omits "Batman: Hush" and "Batman: Death in the Family," the latter featuring an interactive element allowing your choices to impact the storyline, similar to the 1988 comic arc that decided Jason Todd's fate.
