Battlecruisers is marking its fourth anniversary with a monumental update, the 'Trans Edition,' courtesy of the developers at Mecha Weka. This latest release injects a wealth of new content into both the single-player and multiplayer modes, promising to elevate the gaming experience to new heights.
The Trans Edition brings three new cruisers into the battle: Goatherd, Pistol, and Megalith. Additionally, two new buildings, Cannon and Sledgehammer, along with two new units, SpyPlane and MissileFighter, are now available for players to explore and utilize in their strategies.
Existing cruisers are also getting a makeover with three new bodykits: Longbow Fringe, Rickshaw Scathis, and Yeti Corpse Piler, offering fresh customization options to enhance your fleet's appearance and performance.
New options for Skirmishes include Man o’ War, Huntress Prime, and Fortress Prime, while PvP matches have been updated to start with a countdown and feature aircraft trails that match player colors, adding a new layer of excitement and personalization.
The update also includes extensive balancing changes. Notable buffs include the Raptor’s shield build and recharge rate increasing from 3x to 5x, and the Hammerhead’s health rising from 4000 to 4200. The ShipTurret’s damage has been boosted from 40 to 60, though its range has been reduced from 19 to 16, ensuring a dynamic and competitive gameplay environment.
Visually, Battlecruisers 6.4 introduces underwater transparency, allowing players to revel in the wreckage of their defeated foes. The sea is now shaded, and the visuals for cruiser and ship deaths have been enhanced, making for a more immersive experience.

Since its debut in 2021, Battlecruisers has consistently delivered major updates each year. The Trans Edition continues this tradition by introducing more SideQuests and unveiling a mysterious Battlefortress hidden somewhere in the South Pacific.
Set in the year 2732 on a Flooded Earth, the game's universe is inhabited solely by robots engaged in construction and warfare. Players command their own Battlecruiser, equipping it with turrets, nuke launchers, and ultraweapons to tackle a formidable array of enemies.
