Mastering the Legendary Fish Catch in Fields of Mistria

Fields of Mistria, like many farming simulators, includes a fishing minigame. The rarest fish are the Legendary Fish, and this guide details how to catch them all.

Fields of Mistria Legendary Fish Locations

Four Legendary Fish await discovery in Fields of Mistria. Their rarity is offset by an in-game notification at the start of each day: "A legendary fish is nearby." This alerts you to the possibility of a Legendary Fish catch.

Remember, you must unlock the Legendary fishing skill (Tier 3, 80 Essences). This unlocks Legendary Fish spawns. Catching all four in your first year is unlikely, but unlock this skill before year two.

Spring – Cherry Fish

The Cherry Fish, appearing only in Spring on Windy days, is your first target. The large pond east of the city is recommended, focusing on small shadows. The smaller pond near the Mistria Town Manor House offers an alternative location.

Summer – Lightning Fish

The Lightning Fish, a Summer resident, requires Stormy weather. The Narrows river (west of the city) has two prime fishing spots, but other rivers (including those in the city or on your farm) are worth exploring. Look for medium-sized shadows.

Fall – Leaf Fish

Autumn brings the Leaf Fish, found in rivers (especially along the Eastern Road) on Windy days. Its small size necessitates careful attention to smaller shadows.

Winter – Snow Fish

The Snow Fish, a Winter species, appears on Snowy days at the beach. Explore both the shoreline and the small western island for optimal chances. Avoid disturbing other fish to prevent them from fleeing. Its medium size makes it easier to spot.

How To Use Legendary Fish in Fields of Mistria

Donate your Legendary Fish to the Museum. Collecting all four unlocks a reward: Fish Wings. Museum progress influences additional rewards, potentially including furniture, recipes, and treasure chests.
