This update addresses several in-game issues, including soft-locking when stunning the Grown Bourgeon and soft-lock problems on the world map. Additionally, the patch brings refined translations for French, German, and Chinese, enhancing the gaming experience for players worldwide.

The developers at Sandfall Interactive are committed to ongoing improvements, promising more updates soon. While these patches are crucial, the community eagerly anticipates larger content expansions, such as potential DLCs. Recently, Expedition 33’s lead writer hinted at the possibility of DLC on Instagram, responding positively to fan inquiries and citing the game's success as a favorable factor.

In a show of camaraderie, Sandfall Games' Creative Director Guillaume Broche recommended another RPG that launched alongside Expedition 33. On April 30, via Expedition 33’s Twitter (X), Broche encouraged fans to explore The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy, describing it as "another great turn-based RPG made with love by an awesome team."

This recommendation came in response to The Hundred Line’s co-director Kazutaka Kodaka, who earlier praised Expedition 33 on Twitter (X) on April 28. Kodaka urged fans to experience both RPGs, noting that "Even after you finish Expedition 33, this Japanese cult game will still be here, waiting for you!" He continued to laud Expedition 33 in subsequent posts, encouraging players to enjoy both titles.
