Crashlands 2 has just dropped a significant update, version 1.1, from Butterscotch Shenanigans, addressing many fan requests and adding exciting new features. Here's what you can expect from the update:
Introducing Legend Mode, a new challenge that ups the ante from the existing Challenge Mode. On Woanope, enemies are faster, pack a harder punch, and boast significantly increased HP. Meanwhile, Flux Dabes has become even more vulnerable. While there are no additional achievements for conquering Legend Mode, successfully completing it will automatically unlock all achievements from lower difficulty levels.
For a more relaxed experience, Explorer Mode has been added. This mode is perfect for players who prefer to focus on farming mushrooms, building cozy homes, and fishing without the constant threat of combat. It significantly reduces the intensity of battles, allowing you to immerse yourself in the game's story, decorate your base, and interact with the quirky characters of Crashlands 2.
A major highlight of the update is the return of The Compendium. Responding to player feedback, the developers have reintroduced this feature, which meticulously tracks everything Flux discovers, including the number of pets, recipes, and items left to collect to achieve your goals.
With Update 1.1, pets in Crashlands 2 have been enhanced to assist in combat, each with a unique ability that can be activated every 20 seconds. Additionally, gear crafting now offers more variety with random bonus stats on armor, and a range of new gadgets, weapons, and trinkets have been added to the game.
Quality of life improvements are also a key part of this update. Players can now build on a wider variety of terrain, customize the location of their home teleporter, and adjust the darkness level at night, enhancing the overall gameplay experience.
Crashlands 2 is available on the Google Play Store, having launched on April 10th. This update demonstrates Butterscotch Shenanigans' commitment to listening to and acting on player feedback.
