Originally announced in December 2023, this film serves as a direct sequel to the MAPPA-produced anime series that debuted in 2022. The story continues to follow the adventures of Denji, a young man who gains a new lease on life by merging with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. This unique pact grants him the ability to transform parts of his body into chainsaws, propelling him into a life far beyond that of an ordinary Chainsaw Man.
Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc introduces the character Reze, a pivotal figure from the original manga.
