Destiny: Rising sets release date, hits 5M pre-regs

Pre-registration has been available since May, but Destiny: Rising now has a confirmed launch date—and it's approaching faster than expected.

Launching August 28th for mobile, NetEase Games' sci-fi shooter immerses you in an alternate Destiny timeline. If you've ever wondered about unexplored events preceding the original storyline, this opens an entirely new chapter to experience.

Destiny: Rising delivers intense looting and shooting missions, including six-player PvE raids and competitive PvP battles that test alliances. Whether cooperating with teammates or engaging in solo playstyles, there’s gameplay tailored for everyone.

Players assume the role of "the Wolf"—a fully customizable Lightbearer. Experiment with unique abilities tied to each character’s Relic, modify Primary and Power Weapons, and even share compatible gear between different heroes.

Thanks to surpassing five million pre-registrations, ten free draws are already available at launch, signaling massive anticipation for this upcoming title.
