Hearthstone revisits the Un’Goro Crater with its upcoming expansion, The Lost City of Un’Goro, set to launch on July 8th. This release builds on the 2017 Un’Goro debut, offering a fresh narrative and enhanced gameplay.

What Awaits in The Lost City of Un’Goro?

This expansion introduces 145 new cards, a unique keyword, and revived mechanics. It centers on a thrilling expedition into the fabled lost city, weaving a captivating storyline.

The Lost City of Un’Goro follows Loh, a Tortollan explorer, guiding a team into the ancient city. Elise Starseeker, the navigator, and Umbra, a former Tortollan leader with hidden intentions, join the journey. Umbra’s motives unravel as the adventure progresses.

The highlight is the new Kindred keyword, granting cards a bonus effect if a card of the same minion type or spell school was played the previous turn. Kindred triggers based on the prior turn’s play, adding strategic depth.

Quest cards return as 1-cost Legendary spells, guaranteed in your opening hand. Each class receives a unique Quest, unlocking potent rewards upon completion.

Seven Story cards tie back to the original Un’Goro set, revisiting past expeditions with references to iconic events and characters.

The expansion includes six new Map cards. Playing a Map lets you choose one card from three options. Play the selected card in the same turn to gain an additional option; otherwise, you keep only the first.
