The darkness descends as Bandai Namco and FromSoftware unveil global launch timings for Elden Ring Nightreign.
The highly anticipated expansion officially releases on May 30 at midnight EDT across PC, PlayStation 4/5, and Xbox One/Series X|S platforms. Due to timezone variations, some regions will gain early access—Pacific Time players can begin their journey at 9pm on May 29.
Platform-specific differences also apply. Bandai Namco confirms PC players will receive earlier access in most territories, with East Coast PC users starting at 6pm on May 29 while console players wait until midnight.

Pre-loading becomes available 48 hours before launch on PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam platforms. In an exclusive IGN interview, director Junya Ishizaki explained the development team's focus on solo and trio gameplay experiences.
"We regrettably overlooked including a dedicated duo mode during development," Ishizaki admitted. "Our core vision centered around balanced three-player cooperative gameplay. While we prioritized creating rewarding solo experiences, the absence of duo play was an oversight we're addressing post-launch."
Players teaming up as duos should prepare for matchmaking with a third companion—potentially discovering skilled allies in the process.
