"Event Horizon: Dark Descent - Awaited Prequel to the Film"

Nearly three decades after its initial release, Paul W.S. Anderson's cult classic Event Horizon is set to expand its universe with a new prequel. IDW Publishing has announced Event Horizon: Dark Descent, a gripping five-issue comic series that delves into the chilling events preceding the film, shedding light on the fate of the original crew of the Event Horizon ship.

Crafted by the talented team of writer Christian Ward, known for his work on Batman: City of Madness, and artist Tristan Jones, acclaimed for Aliens: Defiance, this series promises to be a dark journey. The vibrant colors are brought to life by Pip Martin, with stunning cover art contributions from Ward, Jeffrey Alan Love, Martin Simmonds, and Joshua Hixson.
