Diablo IV's Season of Witchcraft introduces exciting new content, but mastering it requires acquiring a rare resource: Fugitive Heads. This guide explains how to obtain them in Diablo 4 Season 7.
Season 7 introduces Witchcraft Powers, offering unique gameplay abilities. However, these powers are enhanced by Occult Gems, providing a significant boost to armor and resistances. Crafting these gems, however, requires a crucial ingredient: Fugitive Heads. You'll need at least one Fugitive Head, along with 1,000 Restless Rot and 50,000 Gem Fragments, to craft Occult Gems at Gelena's Tree of Whispers. Knowing how to acquire Fugitive Heads is therefore essential for maximizing your Season 7 experience.
Acquiring Fugitive Heads isn't straightforward. You must complete Whisper bounties within Headhunt zones—new areas introduced in Season 7. Successfully completing these bounties has a chance of spawning an Uprooted Cocoon. Defeating the Headrotten Boss emerging from the cocoon may yield a Fugitive Head. This process relies heavily on chance.
To improve your odds, utilize the Draught of Whispers Elixir. Obtained from Exposed Roots, Whispers Cache, and Coven’s Cache, this elixir increases the Fugitive Head spawn rate by 50% and boosts the appearance of Forgotten Altars.
Finally, difficulty matters. Fugitive Heads have an extremely low spawn rate below Torment difficulty. While challenging, tackling Torment difficulty significantly increases your chances. With Season 7 running until April, players have ample time to master Torment and collect Fugitive Heads.
