The update introduces the Hogwarts Legacy Creator Kit, an innovative toolkit designed for enthusiasts to craft new content, including dungeons and quests, as well as customize characters. The renowned platform CurseForge will manage and publish these user-generated mods. Additionally, Hogwarts Legacy will feature a mod manager, simplifying the process for players to discover and install exciting mods effortlessly.

Come Thursday, a selection of pre-approved mods will be ready for players, with the standout being the "Dungeon of Doom." This new dungeon offers players a challenge to battle numerous enemies and uncover hidden secrets. However, there's a notable condition: to access these mods, players must link their accounts with a WB Games account.

The patch also enhances character customization with new hairstyles and additional outfits. The developers have showcased these mod examples in a trailer, giving fans a sneak peek at what's to come.
