Iansan’s First Teaser and an Official Reveal of Varesa in Genshin Impact 5.5

Genshin Impact's highly anticipated 5.5 update is bringing two exciting new characters to the roster! While insider leaks had already hinted at their arrival, miHoYo (HoYoverse) has now officially unveiled Varesa and Iansan.

Varesa, a 5-star Electro Catalyst user, is described as easygoing and carefree, a stark contrast to her battle prowess. As Iansan notes, "Varesa… No one matches her easygoing, carefree nature… But beware! If you ever fight Abyss monsters with her, the moment she gets into the zone, she turns into an unstoppable force!"

Joining Varesa is Iansan, a 4-star Electro Polearm user who transitions from a beloved NPC to a playable character. Previously known as Natlan's top trainer, Iansan's expertise extends to all skill levels. Varesa herself speaks highly of her mentor: "Iansan is Natlan’s top trainer and the person I admire the most! People say I’m talented, but without her training, that talent would have gone to waste. Don’t worry if you’re not used to working out—Coach Iansan knows how to train anyone!"
