Kit Connor Considered for Key Role in Elden Ring Film Adaptation

Elden Ring movie director Alex Garland is reportedly eyeing a reunion with his Warfare star Kit Connor for A24 and Bandai Namco’s cinematic take on the 2022 RPG masterpiece.

According to Deadline, Garland is keen on casting Connor in a significant role for the Elden Ring film, though details remain under wraps. Variety confirmed the buzz, noting that no official offer has been extended yet.

Connor recently collaborated with Garland on Warfare, a gripping war drama centered on U.S. Navy SEALs facing intense combat in Iraq, released last month.

Connor’s notable credits include Heartstopper, His Dark Materials, and Rocketman, alongside voice work in video games such as A Plague Tale: Requiem, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and Dreams.

The role Connor might play in Hidetaka Miyazaki and George R. R. Martin’s dark fantasy epic remains undisclosed, with the film’s plot still closely guarded.

Garland was confirmed to helm the Elden Ring movie last week. The Ex Machina and Civil War director will also pen the screenplay.

Martin returns to the Lands Between as a producer, joined by DNA’s Peter Rice, Andrew Macdonald, and Allon Reich.
