The highly anticipated PC version of Stellar Blade is set to launch on Steam on June 11, bringing with it a host of PC-specific features. This exciting news was accidentally revealed by Sony through a trailer that was briefly published on the PlayStation YouTube channel before being taken down. However, the internet, as always, was quick to capture and share the trailer, which is expected to be officially released soon.

The trailer also introduced the Stellar Blade Complete Edition, which includes the base game and all the DLC released so far for both PS5 and PC. This announcement comes more than a year after the game's successful launch on PS5 in April 2024.

Stellar Blade on PC will feature a range of enhancements tailored for the platform, such as AI upscaling through Nvidia DLSS 4 and AMD FSR 3, an unlocked framerate, support for Japanese and Chinese voiceovers, ultrawide display compatibility, higher resolution environment textures, and DualSense support for haptic feedback and trigger effects.

In addition to these technical upgrades, the trailer showcased a new boss battle against Mann, the Leader of the Sentinels, and introduced 25 new costumes, which are expected to be available on PS5 as well. A curious detail at the end of the trailer showed Eve releasing a memory stick, a scene not present in the base game, sparking speculation about a potential new ending or additional DLC.

The Stellar Blade Complete Edition is set to launch on both PC and PS5, promising an enriched gaming experience. The game has been a significant success for Korean developer Shift Up, generating $43 million in royalties in its last financial year. The studio anticipates that the PC version will surpass the sales of the PS5 version, which sold over 1 million copies within two months of its release. Shift Up has also expressed interest in developing another game in the Stellar Blade franchise.

In Stellar Blade, players assume the role of Eve, fighting against unknown invaders to reclaim Earth in a fast-paced action role-playing game. The game received a 7/10 rating from IGN, praised for its action elements but noted for its lackluster story and some frustrating RPG mechanics. Despite these critiques, Stellar Blade quickly sold a million copies, proving its popularity among gamers.
