Path of Exile 2's Hidden Golden Idols: A Guide to Finding and Selling Them

Path of Exile 2 features many quests, some less obvious than others. This guide focuses on the five Golden Idols hidden throughout Act 3, which, despite being labeled "Quest Items," don't appear in your quest log. Unlike typical quest items, these aren't traded for quest progression but instead offer a substantial gold reward.

Locating the Golden Idols

After completing the initial Act 3 quests and exploring the ruins beneath the Ziggurat Encampment, you'll travel through a portal to Utzaal (The Drowned City in the present), the Vaal city at its zenith. Three Golden Idols are hidden within Utzaal, with two more located in the connected area, Aggorat. These idols aren't enemy drops; they're found on the ground or pedestals, often in side rooms.

  • Glorious Idol
  • Golden Idol
  • Grand Idol

• Aggorat Golden Idols:

  • Exceptional Idol
  • Elegant Idol

Selling Your Treasures

Once you've collected a Golden Idol, return to the Ziggurat Encampment and speak to Oswald, located in the northern part of the area. He's the only vendor who will buy these unique items. The selling prices are as follows:

• Golden Idol: 500 Gold
• Grand Idol: 1000 Gold
• Glorious Idol: 1500 Gold
• Elegant Idol: 1000 Gold
• Exceptional Idol: 1500 Gold

Collecting all five idols nets you a tidy 6000 Gold. Since they occupy inventory space and serve only as valuable sellables, it's advisable to sell them after each find to maximize your bag space.
