The Spring Hunt 2025 event in Monster Hunter Now is an exciting online paid event set to run from May 24th to May 25th, 2025, as part of the second update in Season 5: The Blossoming Blade. To participate, you'll need to purchase an event ticket from the Monster Hunter Now shop. This ticket unlocks continuous Elder Dragon Interceptions focused solely on the elusive elder dragon, Chameleos, with no waiting times between Interceptions and Hunt-a-thons. Additionally, participants will have the chance to earn exclusive Chameleos-themed layered gear, adding a unique touch to your hunter's appearance.

The event also introduces the Event Exchange Hubs. Two hubs will be available during the Spring Hunt event: the Spring Hunt Eve Exchange Hub, which opens from May 19th at 9:00 a.m. until June 2nd at 11:59 p.m. During this period, you can collect tokens by defeating large monsters or elder dragons between May 19th and May 25th. These tokens can then be exchanged for valuable items such as a Silver Rathalos Plate, Glavenus Plate, Wyvern Gem Shard, and more, enhancing your arsenal and gear.

Chameleos, the elder dragon known for its stealthy tactics and fog-inducing breath that impairs visibility, will be the star of the show starting May 24th, 2025. Players ranked 100 or above can engage with Chameleos in 8-star Elder Dragon Interceptions once they enter a preliminary state, beginning at 9:00 a.m. on the 24th. To maximize your chances of success, equip weapons and armor that exploit Chameleos' vulnerabilities to Fire, Dragon, and Blast elements.

Defeating Chameleos allows you to craft the new Mizuha Set armor, which features the Chameleos Venomist skill. This skill reduces the duration of poison and venom effects on you by half and increases your ability to poison your targets, making it a valuable asset in your hunting endeavors. The materials from Chameleos can also be used to craft a variety of weapons, including Dual Blades, Great Sword, Long Sword, Hammer, Gunlance, Switch Axe, Charge Blade, and Bow, catering to different playstyles and preferences.
